1 review for Black Sheep in the Fast Lane by Ian Scott-Watson

  1. Robert K (verified owner)

An interesting, informative and enjoyable book which takes the reader back to the time when motor racing at the highest level was so much more accessible for both the general public and the aspiring racer than today. Mr. Scott-Watson was at the heart of Jim Clark’s career from the very beginning and his memories of Jim and his contemporaries paint a wonderful picture of a time before motor racing became just another investment for generation of profit. Mr. Scott-Watson’s memories of his career as an architect with planning difficulties, clients who want much more than they can afford and don’t pay their bills are also entertaining and show that the building industry has not changed at all.
    Thoroughly recommended.
